With the default settings of Webgate.io, exactly one streaming variant is generated when uploading a video. This is sufficient if all viewers should see the same video—either without a watermark or with the same watermark applied.

However, when personalized watermarks are enabled, an individual streaming variant is created for each viewer. In this case, enter the number of users who should receive a personalized variant. Each personalized Directlink also counts as a separate streaming variant.
